Julian H Posted June 13, 2018 Share Posted June 13, 2018 HiA friend has an ex Academy 1.6K EU3 series car which I think is 120bhp? What cams does this engine have, are the Supersport cams better? thompster Posted June 13, 2018 Share Posted June 13, 2018 1.6 Academy EU3 has standard Rover cams. I swapped mine to Supersport, with SS ECU and vernier pulley and got big gains at higher revs - mostly where the standard setup ran out of puff above 5k the SS setup keeps pulling. I think the quoted Supersport output is 137bhp (sometime stated as 140). No idea what mine puts out now though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
