Lap time different with/without doors

Hi, can't find an answer to this.  I assume that the car is quicker with doors on given increased turbulence and drag.  Is that the accepted truth?  Has anyone tried to measure it?

And quicker still with the hood up.....if you can keep it up....but who wants to!  Aero and tonneau are best

First track day I did I had the screen on. Awful without doors, lots of buffetting but really aeroscreen is only way to go on track.

I think it depends on what you're doing.  I would say doors off at Curborough, but definitely doors on at Goodwood!  Curborough is relatively short and low speed (but not that low!  ), whereas a track like Goodwood is long and fast.

My first sprint at Goodwood I did with the doors off and finished the lap with my eyeballs still rattling around in my head with the buffeting - never again!  Curborough is different as you need to get yer elbows out and muscle the car around

Thanks all - I found the turbulence pretty bad with doors off at Blyton so assume it is slower ... even though it kinda feels faster 

Need to get comfortable I can switch aero and windscreen around quickly and easily before I go that route - I am surprising myself how much I'm enjoying my time on the road and don't really want to use a helmet for all trips...

Once the aero screen is fitted, with captive nuts, it’s really only a few minutes to swap either way

Disconnect the heated screen wires, pull the wipers and 4 bolts out and back.
