Jim 123
Looking at my car the seat base cover is adhesive bonded to the underside. Unsure about the backrest cover, although there is a horizontal plastic retainer where the leather terminates on the rearmost face. Maybe somebody with a kit build underway can comment on what can be seen from behind with the seat out of the car? Headrests have a zip carefully concealed inside the rearmost circumference. TANGO7
Hi,I am currently refurbishing a seat the plastic back panel of which had split. I am using a refurb kit supplied by Oxted. I have stripped the seat down to the bar frame. Basically the back panel and the leather cover can be removed by cutting through the cable ties which you will see holding everything to the frame on the rear of the seat. I haven’t removed the cover from the base, as the is ok.Ian

TANGO7
I am doing the work (limited to replacement of the plastic seat back and new foam padding) myself so don’t know the cost of a full refurb. The kit I bought from Oxted was c. £65 this includes the new plastic seat back and foam pads.If I were you I would give Oxted a ring (01883712112) and discuss your requirements with them. They are very helpful.
