Lotus 6 front end drawings, please

Dear members

I have a Lotus 6 replica, that was built in 1958 by an ex Lotus emploee, Stan Brown, He migrated to Australia complete with a set of drawings for a 6. Using an Austin A40 as a donor car he built the car I have. Over the years it has had a few accidents and has been repaired rather badly. I now find myself trying to rebuild the front end , Ford 10 split beam axle. Do any of your club members have drawings or good photos of this. Any help would be of great help

Regards Andrew Woodall

I am sorry to hear about this and hope the medication kicks in quickly, perhaps a trip to Caterham would rectify the problem! 😬 😬

Seriously goodluck and post pics of finished project

I suggest that you contact John Watson at historian@lotus7club.co.uk who will either have, or know how to get what you want.

If it is the detail of the axle you want, I have an 11, which I think has the same arrangement. Can't help at the moment because i don't have the car, but expect to have it in a week or so, and will happily do some pics. Let me know if JW can't help
