Metal rod fixing for doors

Hi all 

Does anyone know where I could get my hands on two of the metal rod fixings (black fixing, metal rod and screws), I need one for each of the front doors.

I'm removing the two bottom mirror brackets and want to replace them with the normal black metal rod fixings.

CC would be My source, at £1.88 and £0.88p for the plastic base I would replace all.

#3 Chris, is the hinge plastic on an S3?

I bought a pair of those fancy mirror mounts but then found they won't fit on an SV. The steel hinge pins are too big and have a pinched area which split the mount. Fortunately, Eccles had a spare of the side I split and replaced it FOC. To fit the mounts the upsets need to be ground off and then the hole needs to be opened up a little. 

CC charge £50 for a set of pins and hinges for the SV, I don't want to ruin my originals so until I find some silver steel of the right diameter the mounts will stay in a drawer.......

Yes plastic on a S3.  I noted the SV version and their price.
