Jeff210R
Further to my recent posting on oil pressure I've decided to replace the sender initially. But I can't find the damn thing! I'm used to not finding things under the bonnet of my old 535d but there's a bit more space on the 7! Obviously being stupid but can anybody tell me where it is?Thanks in anticipation.Jeff

Wrightpayne
Pretty sure there were two thread sizes used for the sender.Ian
Bristol and Bath AR
Standard K Series (electronic) Sender is 1/8 BSP thread. Chris Mintoft at Redline will have one and can dispatch quickly (as per his news items yesterday he is still able to work)I would advise testing the integrity of the wire to the gauge at the same time. Send me a request if you need details.

dodgedavidson
While you're at it I'd recommend fitting an LMA Oil Pressure Remote T Piece to remove the Oil Pressure sender from the engine vibrations and extend it's life.
Member Jonathan Kay Posted March 27, 2020 Member Share Posted March 27, 2020 Just wondered how this was going! I'd also fit a stand-off.Jonathan
