Run a cable direct to the lamp itself and it’s working fine3. Changed the switch for a new one 4. Pulled the plug in the rear arch and remade the connection Still not working!Help please? Member Jonathan Kay Posted March 25, 2020 Member Share Posted March 25, 2020 All other lamps working correctly?ran an earth and live direct to the lamp I'd try the same thing but with it fully connected as usual, ignition on, dipped headlamps on, and then those temporary jumps one at a time... which one makes it work?Have a multimeterRemove the bulb.Does one contact of the bulbholder go to 12V (other lead on a good earth) when you turn the lamp on, ignition on, dipped headlamps on?Is the other contact of the bulbholder continuous to earth?Jonathan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

finmac Posted March 25, 2020 Author Share Posted March 25, 2020 OK guys, good news, it’s fixed!Went and had another look and turns out the light switch was sticking and not actually switching dipped beam on properly - so on sidelights.
