Tazio
Not intending to be churlish, but I'm puzzled why you have to ask, I'd just make sure I have a decent tool kit and work it out myself....Halfords Professional 100 odd piece sets are good, and they have 'sale's now and again, and you get the Clubs 10% discount. Wrightpayne
Joking aside, I was lucky to have a father who was very practical and a good teacher (Post Office telecoms engineer in the 50s / 60s) so gave me the knowledge and confidence to do most things from engine rebuilds to brick laying to plumbing etcIf you're keen to learn but just need some guidance then get in touch with your local rep and they will find a mentor nearby.I'm south Leicester if thats any help?!RegardsIan
Mrp
Just to add balance, if these are inherited with the car, perhaps CC does not have the original hinge partsMrp
Cornwall AR
Can't for the life of me understand why you'd want to remove the brackets in the first place. Put a decent convex mirror on the bracket and it's vastly superior to the original junk from Caterham.Stick them up for sale on here and they'll bite your arm off. Unfortunately I won't be one of them - fitted a new set brilliantly made by "garybee" last week and I think they're absolutely awesome!
Bricol
Although I can't see whats wrong with original Caterham ones? Mount 'em correctly, adjust them sensibly, fasten the door and they provide a nice, clear, stable wide view to the rear.
