Guest
Hi all, I have a Stack dash and I'm now getting the "Internal Battery low" warning message pop up. Is the battery easy to change and if so, how do I do it? Thanks Mike

Doug phillips
Hi Mike, it is easy to do this yourself as I did mime a couple of years ago. Take the stack out of the car and remove the back, then if I remember you have to lift off the circuit board. You will then see the battery, I cannot for the life of me remember what type it was, but I did have one in the house. No need to send it back to Stack. Phil G
Careful not to damage the integrity of the seal or you will get the dreaded condensation problem.
Doug phillips
I did not have a seal on mine ☹️, so I used some mastic. Still get the condensation, on a long blat .

Phil G
Recently sent mine back to Stack for service and condensation problems. Service Manager said “someone’s been in this during its life as the seal is damaged”. They did the works but not cheap at £150.
Budjuggler
An update on this re pricing.i have sent mine back for a replacement internal battery and replacement seals etc. The charge £265 including VAT and return courier. That’s quite a hike over the last 8 years! Mind you, excellent service from 213 Performance.
