TRA
Bought my first Seven from Sevens & Classics just before lockdown hit. Absolutely loving it so far, and taking to Donington on Monday for the first time on track. Can't wait!Could anyone recommend some tyre pressures to start with (cold or hot) for track use? It's an SV on CR500 195/45 R15s. I have been running it at 20s all round on the road so far but feels a little high...
gulf 1
Hi I am going to Donington Monday as well, I'm in a Gulf coloured car see you there. Weather is looking like it should be good. I run 18 PSI all round have to keep letting them down as they warm up to maintain that pressure.Dave
Area Representative Geoff Brown Posted June 20, 2020 Area Representative Share Posted June 20, 2020 Road use pressures for 195/45 R15 CR500 front & rear = 18psi. (Taken straight from the CC Owners Hand Book)For the track I have dabbled with higher pressures COLD & 20 psi seems about right. My tyres are CR500 175/55 & 205/55 R13Though I am sure someone will be along to either dispute or concur from their own experiences........
