TANGO7
Does anyone know the size and thread for the above? (For 1994 car). I want to replace the current straight ones with right angle ones to make access easier for a grease gun for lubrication.
Wrightpayne
I thought they were supposed to be lubricated with EP90?

TANGO7
Yes, I am aware EP90 is used but I inject this utilising a grease gun.

Bricol
I used Redline heavy duty shock proof oil in mine on the trials car - well over a decade of use so far, with big horrible chunky 175/80.14 tyres out on 1" spacers and driven off-road a lot. elan_fan
For the grease gun recommendation i use a SH wanner hand held. You should be able to get one for less tan £20. They work well with oil and are old and nicely made.i have two, one for grease and one for oilMark
TANGO7
#11Is the SH wanner fitted with an adjustable diameter nozzle to fit various sized grease nipples? My current gun (which I use for oiling the trunnions) was a small cheap plastic one I got many years ago and it’s about knackered. So looking for a replacement. AnkerB-S
I bought a special trunnion oiling gun from Rimmer:https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-BHA4576A regular grease gun makes a real mess of the job. The seal isn't made for oil, and it will leak past it.
elan_fan
#12not sure of the size, the 2 I have fit "standard" nipples, in my case uprights on a Lotus Elan and the prop shaft.the SH meant second hand. They are just "Wanner"Mark
