VDO Washer Bottle Seal?

Does anyone know if its possible to get just the rubber seal for the VDO washer bottle where the motor goes into the bottom of the bottle? Either original item or an alternative that will work ?

Mine has split in half unfortunately and needs replaced.

What shape is it?

If it's annular I'd take the old one to Halfords and try to find something similar. NB Club discount.

I threw it out as it was pretty much destroyed but from looking online I think it was pretty similair to this MG Rover one :

 

The MG Rover pumps look very similar to the VDO one in my 7 and its only £2 so I've just ordered one to try. I'll give Halfords a go if it dosen't fit.

Ah, that's a bit special.

• The best collection of MG Rover diagrams that I know is that of Rimmer Bros. And they'll answer questions as well as selling bits.
• There is a VDO parts catalogue, but I don't know my way around it.
• But where there's any uncertainty I'd always start with Redline.

Thanks for the advice Jonathan, got lucky with the MG Rover seal I ordered. So for anyone else that may need one I can confirm the MG Rover seal BAU2043A fits the VDO washer bottle and motor perfectly
