Web site woes

Not sure where to post this but does anybody have contact details for someone to talk to about the web site?

I've had so many problems trying to join the club/pay my dues/sign on that it's almost not worth bothering.

It's so un-user-friendly and clunky.

I've never had an issue with logging in either on PC (or a Mac for that matter) or on a phone.

I've spoken with Nick, had his new first Seven for about a month,  and we have done a remote screen session and he's now sorted. Think he fancies competition.

Upshot is we may well, he thinks will, be losing new member signups. He is tech savvy.

thanks so much for your help this morning.

The issue I had is sorted but I think the signing up and payment system is very counter intuitive and clunky.

I still have no idea if I have paid my dues. I tried at least 6 times at the beginning and I think it kept spitting me back to the beginning of the system. Pretty sure it didn’t take any money in the end and if I look at my account it shows no payments made but nothing due. Yet I have a membership number and have already received two magazines!

something is obviously broken.

its not a user friendly journey to membership and I was going to give up so you must be losing prospective members.

Jonathan, i’m Reasonably tech savvy, I spend all day at a computer. 

Modern web design and computer/device use is all about a simple and intuitive user interface and this is definitely lacking with the web site and account management system that the club uses.

i understand that it seems presumptuous to be criticising the club after I have only just joined but my reason for joining is to be part of a like minded community with shared interests and I want to help improve things if I can.  Sometimes a fresh view can help.

Stephen, I understand that you don’t have issues logging in but have you tried opening a new account recently? That’s the experience that new members will have and it’s not good.

Try it, see how you get on.

Hopefully, my issues were just a glitch.

it seems to be a great club and my short experience of the members has been all positive. The more user friendly it can all be, the more members and the better for everyone.
