There are a lot of catch cans on the market but which ones do really do a good/efficient job? Some of them are completely empty inside whilst some have both filters and plates inside. ECR Posted August 4, 2019 Share Posted August 4, 2019 I use a mocal catch tank as per photo. It works well. There's a drain plug in the base and the red plastic cap is a breather with an internal filter. The filter catches most of the vapour but there was always a slight film around the top. I made a tray with a central hole which is held in place by the plastic cap/breather. Any vapour which escapes now condenses in the tray and can be emptied.
