and to my dropbox compare files (more likely to break in the future)

page 1  and    page 2

for attaching bigheads to carbon cycle wings.

looks like 552 to me, which is new since I last used the stuff.

I used Tigerseal in conjunction with BigHeads on my front wings about 15 years ago and never had a problem, it is readily available from Halfords (10% L7C discount) or even cheaper at Euro Car Parts.

I have just fitted Big Heads my new wings this morning, I cable tie the BH's to the stay, mark the position of the wing and with a small amount of Tiger Seal set the wing in place. Once the sealant has gone off I cut the cable ties and remove the stay. Then on the bench I finish off the bonding with more Tiger Seal. One word of advice, make sure the sealant is at room temperature before applying, don't leave it in the garage overnight  *thumb_up*

This is how I fitted BigHeads on my academy car (half way down the page). I used the stuff they sold to glue them on with but I did have one failure so went back to Sika 292 (as used on my other 7) and never had another problem.

I LOVE the green nosecone (scroll to the end) on the sitting room coffee table, with drill to the side. :-)

Yes, the timing of the build of my Academy car coincided with having our lounge redecorated so Caroline was fine with me bringing bits of car indoors to wrap! If you look elsewhere on the blog you can find me wrapping the bonnet on the kitchen table as well!
