x-flow valve clearance with kent 234 cam

HELP, I've forgotten the tappet clearances on my old dunger, running the Kent 234 camshaft, any one out there got the numbers, I'd be very grateful if you'd post 'em out to me.

I have 1700 crossflow tuned to about 136 bhp.   Having trouble with too much noise!  ie about 98 dba static test.

Can someone advise me how I can get the noise level down, ideally I would like under 90 dba for Thruxton, but any reduction would be a help. It has the standard side exit exhaust.

I fitted a repackable Techcraft exhaust to mine and when freshly packed think I got down to about 98dba static at 4500 revs from 105dba previously! Any repackable exhaust (the largest you can get away with without ground clearance issues) should help a lot, you might need to get the inlet changed if sourced secondhand.
