GordonW
Anybody know where I can source a standard X Flow valve spring? (as in not double not up rated not Kent VS5). I've tried the usual suspects.
Tazio
You could try John Wilcox at Wilcox engines, or Dave Gemzoe of this parish.
GordonW
Thanks, the trouble is that most of them just chuck the standard springs in the bin in favour of monster muscle, which as tuners is what you'd expect, the weedy originals in new form seem to be increasingly rare although I have now found a couple of sources. Not cheap though......
ncm
Hi Gordon, do you want new springs or would used be acceptable?Brian.

GordonW
Dave, I've tried Burtons but they claim the only single spring they carry is the Kent VS5 which is too beefy for my application.
blueyedbiker
Just curious to know what the application is?
Molecular--Bob
Bit of a long-shot, but would the springs from the Ka 1.3 endura-e engine work? I think it was a modernised crossflow so maybe the same?
GordonW
Thanks Bob, interesting thought, I think it's now sorted.
