After a fantastic summer (well most of it) of Club Trackdays for Caterham and lotus 7 cars only we have finally been able to get our Trackday dates and venues confirmed for 2021. Attendance was high at our Club Trackdays this year, so we’ve booked nine events for you next year to meet this increased demand, so get these dates in your diary.

 

Tuesday 4^th May  -  Castle Combe.  Club Exclusive Day. Club Novice day with one session every hour for experienced drivers.

Monday 24^th May  -  Cadwell Park.  Club Exclusive Day. We are back at this fabulous circuit known by many as “the mini Nürburgring.

Tuesday 22^nd June  -  Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit. Club Exclusive Session every hour. This is a fabulous and fast circuit, and many members will be returning. If you are an experienced Trackday driver Brands GP is a must.

Monday 12^th July  -  Mike Scott and Barbara Swift Memorial Trackday. Club Exclusive Day at Castle Combe. The Club lost two of its stalwart members in 2020, both of whom contributed hugely to the Club and to its trackday activities. This special event is being arranged in their honour and will feature a ‘first’ for a Club trackday – there will be a 20 minute session every hour for members to run their non-Seven cars.  

Tuesday 27^th July  -  Snetterton Circuit. Club Exclusive Session every hour. Snetterton is becoming very popular with members and we had a great day at Snetterton this year.

Monday 9^th August  -  Anglesey Circuit, with two Club Exclusive Sessions every hour. This has become one of our most popular trackdays having sold out this year. Great Circuit, great views and great people. Members travel from all over the country to this event.

Friday 27^th August  -  Croft Circuit, with two Club Exclusive Sessions every hour. One for our members in the North. This event grows in popularity every year with its friendly atmosphere and a quick exciting circuit.

Monday 13^th September  -  Mallory Park, with two Club Exclusive Sessions every hour. There were only two dates available at this very popular Leicestershire circuit, so we snapped this date up. This is the first time we have been to this circuit in years so it will be a popular day.

Monday 4^th October -  Donington Park. Club Exclusive Session every hour. A great Circuit and very popular. It was a bit crowded this year so we will limit the numbers for 2021.

 

So there we have our dates for 2021. Sorry for the delay in getting them out to you but conformations were hard to get with people on furlough etc. As soon as I get the prices confirmed I will open the events for booking.

We are planning to have Instructors at all our events at no additional charge and we will have our buddy system up and running again. As usual if you have any questions regarding our events just contact one of the organising team. The Trackday Organising Team will be having a meal together close to each circuit the night before the events and will let you know where so you can join us for some pre event chit chat if you wish.

Events will be open for booking in the new year.

I think I know the answer to this but wanted to check - is it correct that you cannot attend a club trackday with a standard roll bar fitted?

Being pedantic, you can attend a track day but only to socialise. Standard roll over bars aren't accepted on track

You are correct. The safety of our members is a key concern at our Club Trackdays so you need to have a trackday roll bar fitted to participate in a Club Trackday.

The circuits have not advised us what the covid rules regarding spectators will be this summer. Hopefully with good progress with vaccinations we will be able to have spectators but at this stage we have to wait and see.

Any recommendation of where to stay overnight for Anglesey Track day. which is trailer friendly ? The campsite I have used previously is fully booked already.

There will be camping available at the circuit subject to covid rules at the time and it is very cheap!
