Type of glue for rubber surround on carbon front wings
The rubber surround on front carbon wings are coming off. What sort of glue is best to reattach once iv removed and cleaned area? Thanks

Super glue is recommended by the build manual.  Personally I don't like that trim and build using a less permanent alternative, making removal post IVA possible.

Super glue is the instant solution. But if you ever want to remove the trim intact then there may be a problem & super glue will leave a nasty, possibly unremovable reminder on the carbon/lacquered surface.

A good contact adhesive such as Bostik (aka 'gorilla snot') is sufficient as long as the edge & trim is cleaned & degreased properly. Also on removing the trim the contact adhesive can be removed with White Spirit & not leave a trace.

The best way to apply is with a small brush or baby bud. Definitely required for getting into the contact surfaces of the trim.

I fitted mine previous with a few dabs of silicone - as I intended taking them off post test,

So its not an issue removing them even if IVA require. I suppose unless its an MOT item free to do as choose. Might take off clean up and then decide if old glue marks too visible or not.
