revilla
Looking for an old head. Will only be used for clamping a bonded shim onto my current head. Won't be going into an engine. Only requirement is that the gasket face is flat and not significantly indented because I can't bring myself to pay for a skim on junk! So bent valves, knackered valve seats, stripped threads, combustion chambers shot full of shrapnel ... all fine! I only need the bare head casting, don't even need the cam ladder. If it just happened to be a serviceable VVC 160 head I might be inclined to pay a bit more for it as it might actually be some use to me when I'm done. So, what have you got? Thanks. Wrightpayne
I have a VVC head which I bought off Jake&Lizzie for £120. I went to sell it and the potential purchaser noticed 2 valves were different. That and the fact it needed an expensive inlet cam put them off.happy for you to take it, have a good look at it and let me know whether its any good and come up with a price. I'm never going to use it. Ring area looks good.It is head, cam ladder valves and springs - no cams or vvc gubbinsIan
