As a result of the coronavirus we will continue to implement safety precautions at our trackdays for your protection including the following;
Signing on and registration will be online and via email before the event.
Briefing will be conducted online the day before the event.
Check in and checking drivers’ licences will be carried out safely on the day.
Social distancing guidelines will apply throughout the event.
Helmet hire will probably not be available.
Passengers and additional drivers should be in the same bubble as the driver.
We ask that you do not bring spectators to minimise the number of people at the circuit.
We will amend these precautions as the situation with the virus changes and confirm in the events final instructions that are emailed to participants.
Anglesey is a regular and popular fixture in the Club’s Trackday programme, and we are delighted to be returning to this fabulous location and Circuit and, in mid-summer again this year. As is now traditional, the Club has booked the circuit on the basis that we can share track-time between ourselves and ‘MGs-on-Track’, a branch of the MG Car Club. We have reserved exclusive use of the circuit for 40 minutes per hour for L7C members, with MGoT participants using the remaining 20 minutes.
Two different circuits will be available during the day, changing over from Coastal to International layouts at lunchtime. Our running will commence in sessions (with participants grouped and allocated to one of two 20 minute sessions) but our intention is to move to open pit lane (OPL) format – allowing track access at any time throughout our 40 minute period – no later than lunchtime and hopefully, before then. The day will be open to drivers at all levels and as a result we will be offering our ‘Buddy System’ and free-of-charge instruction.
The fee for a car and main driver is only £210; an additional driver (who must be a Club member) will cost £40 and passengers are charged at £5 each.
This will be a great mid-summer Club Trackday – hopefully sunny and warm as it was last year!
All drivers must be members of the Lotus Seven Club.
