As a result of the coronavirus we will continue to implement safety precautions at our trackdays for your protection including the following;
Signing on and registration will be online and via email before the event.
Briefing will be conducted online the day before the event.
Check in and checking drivers’ licences will be carried out safely on the day.
Social distancing guidelines will apply throughout the event.
Helmets hire will probably not be available.
Passengers and additional drivers should be in the same bubble as the driver.
We ask that you do not bring spectators to minimise the number of people at the circuit.
We will amend these precautions as the situation with the virus changes and confirm in the events final instructions that are emailed to participants.
Our annual Trackday at Cadwell Park is, for many, the most eagerly awaited event in the Club’s entire Trackday schedule; it seems to be the event that is most remembered and talked about long after the day itself has passed. Known fondly as the 'mini-Nürburgring', the circuit offers tight curves and fast sweeping corners, plenty of elevation change and the breath-taking ‘Mountain’ crest, all within a stunning open park and woodland setting. It’s a magic circuit to drive in a Seven.
We will have exclusive use of the circuit throughout the day, starting in Sessions (with drivers grouped according to experience and ability) and then progressing to Open Pit Lane (OPL) operation as soon as possible and – other than in exceptional circumstances – no later than lunchtime. The event is suitable for drivers at all levels. We will operate our ‘Buddy System’ to support the lesser experienced and will provide free instruction that is available to all drivers (bookable on the day). The day is ‘noisy’, subject to a 105dB limit measured statically prior to starting track activities.
The cost for a car and main driver – including the benefits listed above – is great value at £210; an additional driver (who must be a Club member) costs £40 and passengers are charged at £5 each.
All drivers must be members of the Lotus Seven Club.
